Growth and Sustainability
The California Nurse-Midwives Foundation (CNMF) is at a critical juncture in our trajectory. We will be embarking on a Growth and Sustainability project driven by an anti-racism lens. CNMF is proud to be commencing Phase 1 of this process with Raimi & Associates, our strategic planning consultants. Raimi & Associates (LINK) have an excellent Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion lens and a history of working with community-based reproductive health organizations in California. Phase 2 of this project will focus on creating a sustainable business model and will likely begin in 2023. We are currently raising funds for this 2nd phase. Please donate here to contribute to this effort.
Our Board & Advisory Committee
In order to ensure the Foundation’s leadership is a shared and equitable model, we work to create policies and processes that are inclusive and based on a model of consensus.
Our Board and Advisory Committee members come from a diverse range of ethnic, cultural, and economic backgrounds, as well as different practice backgrounds from different regions of California.. Everything we do is grounded in social and racial justice.
CNMF’s Advisory Committee to our Board of Directors was created to ensure we hear from the diverse voices of students, recent graduates and practicing nurse-midwives.
