2024 SEED
BIPOC STUDENT MIDWIFERY SCHOLARSHIP
CNMF invests in the diversification of midwifery care and understands the barriers to completing your program are unique to you. We would like to get funding into your hands to support the success of your education and help you thrive during your program.
This fall, we have $50,000 in scholarship funding available to distribute to student midwives. We aim to distribute twenty scholarships at $2,500 per award.
Eligibility: CNMF prioritizes funding student midwives with strong ties to California, first time scholarship applicants, and folks who demonstrate a commitment to strengthening the midwifery workforce through advocacy. We welcome applicants from CNM and CPM programs.
Deadline to apply: Application will close once we receive 25 applicants or by October 25, 2024 by 5pm PST (whichever comes first).
Interviews: For our 2024 application cycle, we will be holding 30 min interviews with applicants to learn about you and your vision for equitable midwifery care in California.

SEED stands for "Supporting Education and Empowerment for Diverse Midwifery Students"
